TOFU TIPS

Eggless Salad Sandwich Spread

• 1 # block silken tofu
• Mash Well
• Add:
• 1/4 C vegan mayo
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1/2 t turmeric
• 1 t lemon juice
• 1 t prepared mustard
• 1/4 t celery seed
• 2 t nutritional yeast (optional)
• 2 T chopped celery (optional)
• 1T chopped onion (optional)
• 1-2 T sweet pickle relish (optional)

Great Easy Sandwich Spread

I sometimes prefer a "smooth" textured egg salad, so I leave out the celery and either chop the onion really fine, or add a teaspoon or so of onion powder in it's place.

Use HIMALAYAN BLACK SALT in place of salt if you can. It has a real egg smell to it, so you will think more of real egg flavor
